DNIF deployment ensures easy scaling based on the demands of the environment. DNIF is designed with flexibility to integrate with any third party software. You can seamlessly scale your DNIF installation depending upon your requirement. An installation can be as small as a single instance or it could be a modularly scaled deployment that can continue to grow along with your data requirements.

The DNIF Platform is distributed and extremely scalable, it has the following components in a single cluster:

  • Core: Core is the management interface used for registering and managing components for a DNIF Cluster.
  • DNIF Console: The DNIF Console allows you to monitor, manage all the components and its services.
  • Datanode: Datanode is a component of the DNIF solution that ensures the scalability to handle your data storage and the computation of DQL queries and databases.
  • Adapter: The Adapter is the connection between the data sources and DNIF. It is used to collect, parse, enrich, and store log events.

The above diagram displays the deployment of a single DNIF Cluster. A single DNIF cluster will include the following components: Adapter, Datanode and Core. There could be multiple datanodes within a cluster and there could be multiple clusters based on the organizational objective.
